These terms and conditions apply to the use of our website. By accessing our site and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions as set out below.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to or will limit any rights you may have as a consumer under any applicable law (in accordance with the sale of goods act).

Please Note: We only operate within the Uk. We are unable to ship to overseas destinations.

1) Orders: Purchasers are required to be of 18 years of age or over. Payment must be received for the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be processed. After payment has been received by us we will confirm your order by email to the email address you have specified.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order for your chosen goods. We will indicate acceptance of your order when we send you an invoice. It does not indicate that a binding contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for whatever reason may be. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

2) Pricing: Prices payable for goods that you order are as displayed on our site. Prices include any applicable taxes. In the event of an error in a displayed price we reserve the right to not supply the goods ordered, in this event we would contact you with the revised price prior to completing your order. All prices are nett and are not retrospective to previous orders.

BUSINESS USERS & COMPANIES - PLEASE NOTE: At present we do not charge VAT to any of our featured items.

WE ARE UNABLE AT PRESENT TO ISSUE A VAT RECEIPT.

3) Delivery Charges: In general we do not charge for delivery for goods ordered on our website providing the total order value is £50.00 or over (including any applicable taxes). This is for deliveries to most of Mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Certain areas in Ireland & Scotland will incur an extra charge; where applicable we will notify you in advance and request payment before acceptance of your order. All products both under and over a value of £50.00 incurring a delivery charge will be as set out in our website.

4) Delivery of Goods: Goods will be delivered to the address given to us by you at the time of order placement. In the case of payment via debit and/or credit card we will for security reasons only deliver to the registered cardholders address. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted. In most cases this is within 5 to 7 days for stock items. Out of stock items are generally delivered within 10 to 14 days. You will be notified of any out of stock items and given the option to cancel if required. In certain instances we can offer a timed/named delivery service at an additional cost, please contact us to enquire prior to placing an order.

Please note: The majority of our products are delivered via recorded courier/delivery services. It is a condition of sale that a signature must be provided at time of delivery - if you are unable to inspect the goods at delivery time the item must be signed for as "unchecked". Whilst we will advise where possible delivery dates we cannot guarantee that delivery will be on those dates as it is outside our control. In the event of you not being present at the time of delivery our nominated couriers are instructed to leave a notification card to allow you to rearrange a new date/time. We only deliver to consumers within the UK.

5) Guarantees/warranties/assistance: All products supplied by us are supported by the relevant Uk Manufacturers Nationwide warranty. This is a a direct service provided by each manufacturer to resolve your problem in the easiest and fastest way possible.

Most manufacturers have an appointed & authorised service agent in most major towns & cities to carry out a repair within the terms & conditions of their guarantee/warranty.

They are authorised to carry out warranty work irrespective of which dealer the product was originally purchased from as long as proof of purchase is provided.

This warranty network is provided to allow a local service to all UK customers and avoids the transportation of goods back to the original place of purchase, it also provides a considerable time saving and avoids carriage charges which otherwise would be payable by each customer.

Should a product have or develop a fault please contact your local agent in the first instance. Details of their names/locations can be found in literature supplied with the product and/or on the appropriate manufacturers website.

In the event you cannot locate a local agent please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance and warranty help. This again can be found in product literature or on their websites.

* Please note: various manufacturers (Bosch, Ryobi etc) now have their own central service operations - these are excellent in the event you do not have a local agent in your town/city. In most cases they offer a full collection & return service for warranty handling.

In addition we will always offer assistance to help you. Should you be unable to locate your nearest service agent please contact us - we will locate the agent on your behalf.

6) Liability: In the event the goods you receive are not what you ordered, or are damaged/faulty/incomplete we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us promptly via email or in writing by return. In the event of a product not being supplied or a product supplied developing a fault/breakdown we will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss of damage or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods supplied. Our only obligation will be to fulfil any non delivery/repair or replace any damaged or faulty goods received. If you have not received the item(s) ordered within 10 days we will have no liability to you unless we are notified by you of the problem via email/telephone/in writing within 14 days.

It is a condition of sale that all purchasers/users of tools/powertools/garden equipment/access equipment purchased from this website use protective safety equipment and/or clothing at all times whilst they are in use. Protective clothing and equipment is available for purchase on this site. We recommend reading and following manufacturers instructions as supplied with all our products prior to you using them. Training in the use of powered tools and equipment should be sought prior to you or anyone using them, this is especially the case with saws, chainsaws and hedgetrimmers. Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure the product purchased and used is being used in a well maintained and safe order, please ensure that no one is at risk by the product(s) you use or the work being undertaken.

7) Risk/Title: Risk of damage to or loss of the Goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you or, if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time, the time when we tried to deliver. Title to the goods will only transfer to you when we have received payment in full and the goods have been delivered.

8) Card/personal details security: Your personal details and any debit/credit card details you entered are transmitted over a secure (SSL) link using 128-bit encryption. You can browse our site and purchase in confidence - we have taken all the necessary steps to prevent stolen or fraudulent credit card use on our website by using dedicated fraud prevention software provided by Protx.

9) Cancellation by Ourselves: We reserve the right to cancel your order and contract between ourselves when; a) We have insufficient stocks of the item(s) you have ordered and are unable to fulfil your order within a reasonable time. b) We are unable to supply your order due to stocks not being available in the future and/or a change in supplier or supplier policies. c) We are unable to deliver item(s) ordered to your location. d) Goods ordered by you are incorrectly priced due to an error on our website. e) We/our card merchant provider/protx are unable to confirm your personal details/registered card information. If we have to cancel your order and contract we will refund any payment made as soon as possible and within 14 days. We will not be liable or obligated to offer any compensation for disappointment or inconvenience suffered.

10) Cancellation By You: You may cancel your contract with us up to a maximum of 7 working days from the date you received the good(s) ordered. This is subject to the good(s) being unused, in their original unopened packaging and in the same condition as they were delivered. You will return the goods at your own cost and risk to the address specified by us as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange collection and delivery on your behalf with the cost paid for by you. Please note: We are able to offer free advice and recommendations on all the products we sell, please contact us for any pre-sale or after sale help needed. It is better for you and us if we can supply you the right tool for your requirements first time. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for all cancelled items, this is generally £25.00 or 25% of the purchase price paid - whichever is the higher amount.

10) Events Outside Our Control: We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation acts of god, system breakdowns, strikes, courier delays, and other industrial disputes).

11) Privacy Policy: We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
